Coming to the United States is an exciting journey that takes a lot of hard work and preparation. However, the reward is well worth the sacrifice. PPR International recognizes the difficulties our nurses experience in relocating to a new country. In addition to the many cultural barriers that you may encounter there are practical barriers. The biggest one that you will encounter is a lack of credit history in the United States. In the United States anything that requires financing or proof of payment requires a credit check. A credit check is completed against your credit history. Your credit history is tracked in the United States by a Social Security number. Since you cannot apply for a Social Security card until you have come to the United States, purchasing things such as a car, credit card, home and setting up utilities can be difficult and costly when you first arrive. To help alleviate the stresses associated with transitioning, PPR International is pleased to introduce the Inbound USA relocation program. Pre-Transition Preparation
This is an exciting time in your life but can also seem very overwhelming. PPR International has put together a team of trained transition professionals to guide you through your journey into the United States. Our Transition Specialists will be in contact with you via phone and email to ensure you are completely prepared and confident about your transition. Pre-transition preparation is the most important phase of our entire transition process. Therefore, you will begin to receive contact regarding your transition several months prior to arrival. Our trained specialists will provide advice via phone and email on several topics that you may be concerned about. These relocation tools will often time offer advice on pre-transition preparations not yet imagined. Remember, our transition program has been designed by nurses like you for you, so most of our expertise was devised from previous nurse testimonials. During this phase in our transition process you will receive a pre-transition employment pack. The transition employment pack is composed of several documents imperative to your transition. We suggest you begin filling out your pack in this phase, as some documents require supplemental information.
